A former Sports Journalist working with the Ghana News Agency (GNA), Veronica Commey is daring ace investigative Journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas to make public whatever discoveries he has unearthed in the football governing body, GFA.

This follows a rebuttal by the President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kwesi Nyantakyi that no one has fled the country as a result of the latest exposé dubbed ‘Number 12’ in which some officials of the Football Association (FA) have been fingered for engaging in shady deals

Veronica Commey who was made to resign from the Black Stars management team in 2013 by the spokesperson of the GFA, Ibrahim Saani Daara on her Facebook page in response to a publication on the Graphic Sports said: “The President has spoken. Anas got nothing on the GFA. After all they commissioned him in 2015. Anas, bring it on”

Meanwhile, people who know Veronica Commey say she is one of the hard critics of the Nyantakyi administration and her comment could be sarcastic.

MyNewsGh.com earlier reported that Ghana Football Association (GFA) officials were leaving the shores of Ghana on panic over the latest Anas Armeyaw Anas exposé in which quite a number of them have been allegedly fingered for some form of dubious conduct in one way or the other.

But FA President has disclosed that football administration is not a full-time job and that members are obliged to travel for their personal business though he admitted some of them within the week traveled out of the country for CAF duties indicating they will be back by today.

“The only two people I know are out of Ghana at the moment is my good self and General Secretary Isaac Addo. Both of us are on official CAF duty. We are both returning latest by Thursday. Running the football is not a full-time job for the GFA Executive Committee so if someone travels to do his private business how does that amount to running away?”

“For someone to suggest that we are running away is pure mischief,” he told Rosalind Amoh of Graphic Sports.

Screenings of ‘Number 12” which the latest of the investigative journalist will be done in Accra, Kumasi, Tamale and Takoradi between June 9 and June 16 to afford residents the opportunity to appreciate the efforts of the undercover journalist whose avowed goal is ‘name, shame and jail’.

He has always maintained that his style is tried and tested and those criticizing it are only entitled to their opinion.
