New Patriotic Party (NPP) polling station executives, foot soldiers and party sympathizers in the Builsa North District of the Upper East region have expressed gratitude to president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for nominating David Afoko as District Chief Executive (DCE) for the area
At a press conference on Saturday April 29, 2017 the party assured the president of their unflinching support to the two term constituency chairman who has been nominated among the 212 MMDCEs last week.
They unanimously resolved to support the president’s choice and calling on those who also expressed interest but were not considered rather rally behind him for the development of the district which is lagging behind.
“We are all now resolved to support the president’s choice in order to successfully carry out the good policies of the President and the NPP
Finally, we appeal to all party members and youth in the Builsa North District to be patient and to support the government and the party to fully roll out the development and job-creation policies as captured in the party’s manifesto”, they stated.

“We the members, executives (constituency electoral area coordinators and polling stations), footsoldiers, sympathisers and well-wishers of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Builsa North District wish to express our sincere gratitude to His Excellency, President Nana Akuffo Addo for reposing confidence in our Chairman David Afoko by nominating him as District Chief Executive for the Builsa North District”
“We wish to assure the president of our firm and unflinching commitment to support Chairman David Afoko (whom we elected two times as our constituency chairman) through the nomination process and his tenure as DCE
It is our prayer that the people of Builsa North will overwhelmingly endorse the president’s nominee at the district assembly’s hearings”
