Fans of Okyeman Planners and football enthusiasts in Akyem Tafo are to be hit with a huge blow as the Division One League side plan of relocating to Koforidua following reports of violent attacks during their home matches.
Reports emerging from their clash with Vision FC at their Tafo home grounds indicate that some irate home fans attacked the visiting team, hitting some of their players with stones resulting in severe cuts.
Insiders at the Tafo-based side have hinted that the club is planning of moving their home grounds to the Koforidua Park following the consistent embarrassment they keep suffering from the fans.
Close sources to the top hierarchy of the club have even revealed that the leadership of the club have started working on the Koforidua Park with the intention of moving there in the second round of the GN Bank DOL.
Some of the top officials of the club who are members of the Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association believe the club must relocate to save them the constant embarrassment.
