Residents of Ablekuma West in the Greater Accra Region must double their efforts to enable the New Patriotic Party (NPP) win this year’s elections to change their fortunes for the better, the party’s Greater Accra regional chairman, Ishmael Ashitey, has urged.
“Do your best to vote for us. The people of Ablekuma West should do what they always do and put in extra effort to give us more votes and we will bring the desired change you deserve,” he stated.
He was speaking at a rally at Shiabu, Dansoman, in the Ablekuma West constituency during a campaign tour of the Greater Accra Region on Tuesday, 4 October, by flag bearer Nana Akufo-Addo.
According to Mr Ashitey, the only people who are to be voted for at the December 7 polls are Nana Akufo-Addo, the flag bearer of the NPP, and Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, the incumbent NPP Member of Parliament (MP) for the area.
He said the two were the only aspirants who could bring a positive change to the lives of the residents.
“Everyone who will go and vote on December 7 should look for the picture of Nana Akufo-Addo and the Elephant. Look for Ursula Owusu-Ekuful and put your thumb beside the two to vote for them,” he added.
