National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer hopeful, Stephen Atubiga has expressed shock in news about a planned comeback of former President John Dramani Mahama to lead the party in 2020.
He has given every indication that he will face him irrespective of the amount or denominations he will spend to influence voters to get him elected as torch bearer of the party.
“I can’t wait for what am hearing out there to be a reality, As to JDM coming back to contest others and myself this Congress to lead NDC. I have news for JDM And brahim Mahama. I will give them a run for their money. I will match them boot to boot, dollar to dollar, cedi to cedi, Euros to Euros”, he stated.
He promised to give the former President and his brother Ibrahim Mahama a run for their money expressing optimism in leading at the close of polls.

Interesting days ahead. Lots of strange posters /names are popping out for NDC presidential race. Wow, I welcome them all on board. Especially my respectable former Veep. I hope they can handle the heat when the whistle is blown.
The quest to lead NDC and Ghana as a nation demands strength in taking firm and strategic decisions, Thinking outside the box, A team player, And respecting the structural structure s that gave you the opportunity to leadership of NDC. (examples are grassroots, footsoldiers, businessmen and women, steak holder, and more)
People could not manage or run some sectors entrusted to them, And want to be Presidents or Veeps. Are you kidding me? Do they know what is takes to run a country like Ghana? Especially moving this country forward and creating jobs. How many people did you help or support when you got an appointment? How many towns and villages did you visit when you were in office? What was your contributions to the NDC/president physically and financially towards this our past (past defeated election)? People should be bold and ready on their own to lead, Not to be pushed and promoted by others for their own interest.
