Hearts of Oak midfielder Malik Akowuah believes their Ghana Premier League title winning credentials is on course.
The Phobians despite enduring a difficult start to the season recorded their first victory at the Accra Stadium last Sunday.
According to Akowuah who joined the club from Medeama, the 2-1 win over Wa All Stars have sparked their hopes of winning this season's league.
“It was a big boost for us to win the game, WA All Stars were strong on the day and they played very well,” he spoke to Ghana Sports Newspaper.
“But we were determined, this win has boosted our confidence and I can say our target to win the League title is still on course.”
“We will now approach our next game with much seriousness and also go in for a win in every game we play, that is the only way we can win the title.”
