A soldier, who lodged a complaint at the Abeka Lapaz Police Post against a lady, whose husband happens to be a member of the Invisible Forces, now with the VIPPU at the Presidency; the Flagstaff House, was beaten to pulp.

The Police, who moved in to prevent the barbaric act, had their fair share of the beatings. The attack brought a lot of people to the Abeka Lapaz Police Post.

The suspect was invited and during interrogation, her husband in the company of four other colleagues with sidearm, drove in a 2016-registered black Toyota Land Cruiser to the Police station and started assaulting the complainant; the soldier.

The thugs ransacked the Police post and assaulted the Counter Non Commissioned Officer, Corporal Seth Adusah, who is treating wounds he had sustained on his right eye.

The station Officer, Chief Inspector Owusu, who is the CID officer at Lapaz Police Post, had to pull an AK47 assault rifle to scare the thugs away.

A reinforcement team from Tesano Divisional Command Patrol Team, led to the arrest of two of the thugs and the vehicle impounded. The other two fled.

The following day, the Head of the VIPPU, Chief Superintendent Asare, came to take the suspects away with the promise of getting them dismissed and all medical expenses paid to the injured corporal.

As at last week, Seth Adusah, was attending to his wounds, including the ones he sustained on his eyes and smashed lips.

It was unclear, if the four members of the Invisible Forces, have been sacked from the VIPPU at the Presidency; the Flagstaff House by the head of the VIPPU, Chief Superintendent Asare.
