Management of Private Investigation Agency, Tiger Eye PI has dared Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong to go ahead and release the so-called secret audio and video recordings in his possession indicting investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas as corrupt.

“Why is he covering up a crime, if there is? What for Christ sake is he waiting for? Latif Abubakar, a management member of the Agency questioned in an interview with host Kwaku Owusu Adjei on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa 102.5 FM Tuesday.

According to Latif, nothing will sway their attention from their upcoming event billed for Wednesday, insisting “our main focus is to get a large number of Ghanaians to watch the film tomorrow”

The controversial recording was part of the leaked pictures, videos and sounds put in the public domain by the lawmaker, Kennedy Agyepong.

While a section of the public has described the content of the audio as diversionary, others contend the said material must not be disregarded.

In the said audio recording leaked by outraged legislator, Kennedy Agyapong, investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas is purported to be extorting money from a businessman.

He is also heard mentioning the name of Private legal practitioner, Egbert Faibille, “the thick, tall lawyer” as being at a bank to track some transaction.

But reacting to the claims by the maverick politician, Latif said they’re not bothered the extent Mr. Kennedy Agyapong will go with his allegations since there’s nothing about the audio-recording that incriminates Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

“Because there is no element of truth, is not really worth digging into that while we have very important activity. How to satisfy the masses and the citizens is our problem for now.”

He assured all is set for the screening of the exposé tomorrow.

“The venue will be secured beginning from tonight. We’re liaising with the necessary security agencies to make the venue safe. In terms of the kind of arrangement we’ve put in place, there is nothing to be scared of. It’s only God who controls what happens tomorrow, but per our plans and our schedules nothing will change our mind, except the Lord.”
