His thinking about security matters can be described as taking the offensive position i.e fighting fire with fire, instead of a defensive posture which, employs ADR countermeasures, a more matured and reasoned approach to conflict.
With a very determined party, you are looking at massive chaos and the needless destruction of lives and property. The security coordinator should learn to take intelligence briefings seriously if he wants to be successful in his job.
