Ghana Captain Asamoah Gyan played a key role as Kayserispor defeated Karabukspor in the Turkish top flight on Sunday.
The forward returned to form helping his side beat Karabukspor 3-2 in the Super Lig.
Kakakbukspor shot into the lead in the 22nd minute through Brazillian forward Leandrinho.
After taking the lead, Black Stars forward, Asamoah Gyan’s side restored parity courtesy Artem Kravets’ strike.
Three minutes after the break, the home side scored their second from the spot thanks to Deniz Turuc.
Kravets grabbed his brace in the 56th minute and Kayserispor’s third goal.
But Karabukspor reduced the deficit late in the game through Olafur Ingi Skulason.
Gyan started and played the entire duration of the game.
