Ghanaian duo Frank Acheampong and Dennis Appiah helped Anderlecht to beat APOEL 1-0 away to edge closer to a UEFA Europa League qualification berth.
Appiah was named in the starting line-up and lasted the entire duration as right back.
Winger Acheampong was a late second half substitute when he replaced Nicolae Stanciu in the 81st minute.
Stanciu scored the only goal in the 29th minute.
