Former Black Queens captain Adwoa Bayor has not given up on active football yet.

The former African Footballer of The Year returned to football on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, to feature for Immigration Ladies in their victory over Samaria Ladies in the NC Special women’s competition.

She played full throttle and helped her side record their first win in the competition, thanks to Patience Narh’s solitary strike.

The 39-year-old, a registered player of Immigration Ladies, had only watched the games from the bench in the last three matches but made an appearance for the first time on Wednesday afternoon.

Adwoa Bayor opted to return to active football after some time off the pitch.

She represented Ghana at 1999, 2003 and 2007 FIFA Women’s World Cup and also played at six Africa Women’s Cup of Nations tournaments.

Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh has reported a story o Ghanaian coach Paa Kwesi Fabin getting a coaching job in Uganda.

The former Asante Kotoko gaffer has signed a year deal with FUFA with an option to renew at the end of his spell.

He will be coaching Uganda U-17 and the U-20 team.
