Major Yaw Larson the former Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) and Asante Kotoko football Club Chairman died yesterday, 18th June,2017 at the 37 military hospital.
This sad demise happened after a short illness.
In a telephone conversation with Mrs. Lucy Baaba Larson the wife of Late Major (RTD) Yaw Larson , this morning. She confirmed the sad news to ahotoronline.com
Late Major (RTD) Yaw Larson who is also the writer of the book, “Professionalism in Ghana Football: the myth, perception and reality,” impacted the Ghana Football fraternity with his deep knowledge on football administration.
“Football is a business and as such all must observe it when it comes to play and administrative style”,Major (RTD) Lawson constantly stated this in his public discussions.
Major Rtd. Yaw Larson formally held the position as the Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko club, he was also a member of the GFA, GHALCA and many more.
His Body has been deposited at the 37 military Hospital morgue.
