English Premier League side Everton have expressed interest in signing Ghanaian youngster Daniel Agyei.
The Burnley striker has just one season left to run on his contract and officials of Everton want to make him Romelu Lukaku’s replacement.
The 19-year old spent the first half of the season on loan at Coventry, scoring four goals in 16 League One appearances.
He returned to Burnley in January and boss Sean Dyche handed him his debut against Liverpool last month and used him as a substitute again a few days later against Everton.
Agyei qualifies to play for both England and Ghana, with the FA making overtures to get him into the Three Lions’ Under-20s.
