WAFA SC laboured to beat Elmina Sharks 1-0 at home to remain top of the Ghana Premier League.
The Academy Boys needed an 86th minute goal from centre back Musah Nuhu to bag the points against a stubborn opponent.
Sharks frustrated their hosts and managed to keep the scoreline barren although they had less of territorial dominance.
Chances were few for WAFA who needed the win to tighten their grip at the summit after 20 match days.
WAFA SC go into the weekend with their three-point lead.
