Ghanaian defender Richard Baffour is happy with his output in the Egyptian Premier League with Ismaily.
The former Bechem United guardsman has been a pillar at the back for the Brazilians of Africa as they sit second on the league log with few games to the end of the season.
Baffour emphasized that it has been a dream campaign for him and he is happy to help his club to get a Champions League slot.
“I started the season well and I am ending well too. Personally it has been an excellent season for me and the whole team as well,” Baffour told footballmadeinghana.com
“Currently we are second on the league log with few games to go. We beat our closest rivals Zamalek 3-1 yesterday, all I can say is CAF Champions League football is 90 percent secured for next season,”
The talented central defender also disclosed that Egyptian football deals with pace whilst Ghana has talents in abundance.
“To be able to play in Egypt you must have speed, the game is played on a fast tempo here as compared to Ghana though Ghana has so many talents,”
Baffour has made 23 Egyptian Premier League appearances this season scoring one goal.
