Accra Hearts of Oak captain Thomas Abbey has pointed out that the game against Accra Young Wise was very tough.
The Phobians defeated the second-tier side on Sunday by a lone goal to move to the last eight of the competition.
Abbey who was named as the best player of the game revealed that they did not have things smooth in the game.
“Young Wise were determined because they beat Accra Great Olympics here but we did everything possible to overcome them.”Abbey stated
“It was a difficult game but we sailed through. We want to win all competition this year therefore we must take every game serious so as to achieve our aim,”
Hearts of Oak are hoping to win the competition in an effort to play in the CAF Confederations Cup next season.
