KK Peprah gets doctorate award

The works of top businessman, Mr Kwame Kyei (KK) Peprah has attracted the attention of high learning institution, Ternopil National Economic University For recognition.

The Ukrainian tertiary institution, will on June 23, this year confer the honorary doctorate degree on KK Peprah for his exploits in his field of endeavour ( Building/ Construction materials dealer).

Consequently, the management of Confederation of Governance Assessment Institute (COGAI), the body empowered to recommend people for doctorate degree, under the auspices of Ukraine Ministry of Education and Bureau of Research on Governance, Commerce and Administration (BORGCA) have presented a citation, signed by Professor Victor K Yankah in a ceremony in Accra recently.

Responding to his impression about the recognition, he said “This goes to show that hard work pays, it also suggest that society recognizes and rewards hard work and diligence. I am humbled by the acknowledgement, and I must say it will urge me on to go the extra mile.”

From a humble beginning, he has succeeded in setting up many building materials retail shops and depots across the nation with three factories Accra, Takoradi and Kumasi yet-to-be commissioned.

His target is to expand his businesses to absorb the youth across the country and has embarked on more Corporate Social Responsibility exercises particularly for the Osu Children’s Home and the Nsawam Prisons as well as the Nsawam Hospital.

The business mogul said in an interview that his desire to venture into business dates back to his second cycle (EMIT Commercial, Kaneshie) institution days where he combined education and salesmanship effectively.

He said “ The youth should know that there is no short cut to success. I will urge them to set targets and strive for excellence in their respective fields of endeavours. Hard work pays, they should work hard and God will reward them accordingly.”

Communication strategist of COGAI/BORGCA, Isaac Rockson has said “ This is an attestation of our quest to empower individuals and companies who excel in their respective fields.”
