Only new spare parts should be considered for duty exemption.Second spare parts should attract duty,perhaps more than 100% duty,or be banned altogether.This is to prevent the flooding of the market with overused second hand spare parts which are causing accidents in the country.Africans come to Europe and cannibalize abandoned old vehicles and bring them down as spare parts and sell them to vehicle owners.They are the cause of most of the accidents on our roads.
