Ghanaian artiste Itz Tiffany
Afro-Pop Sensation Antoinette Tiffany Owusu, known by her stage name, ITz Tiffany, has disclosed that the 'missing' Castro is irreplaceable in her life because they were best friends.
According to Itz Tiffany, Castro was a close friend and is part of her success story in the music industry.
Speaking to Dr. Pounds on the hitz gallery show on Hitz FM, she said, Castro will be very difficult to replace because she does not think she can relate with any artiste like she did with Castro.
"I don't think I can connect with any artiste like Castro. We are all unique in our own way so I don't think I would replace him with someone. I can work with lots of artists but I can't replace him" she said.
She recounted how Castro made her move out of her comfort zone to delve into another genre of music.
"Castro said because of my voice I could sing and do another genre. I used to be a rapper but Castro pushed me out of my comfort zone. He really motivated me. I really miss Castro more often. Castro is like a big brother and we 'vibe' together. He is a funny person and down to earth. He is and he was an amazing person and am blessed I met him in my life. He advised me to be versatile and that really helped me a lot." She said
She also indicated that Castro never wrote songs like other artistes do.
According to the ' Fake London boy' hitmaker, Castro didn't write songs and that he just gets to the studio and everything just flows.
"Anyone who knows Castro knows that he is not a writer. Even his own song, he doesn't write at all. Half of his songs he does a small voice note and takes it to the studio. He is really talented ". She added.
Commenting on her new single, Cotyledon, she said she sees nothing wrong with the title of the song since the name has a scientific background.
According to her since she has been away for a while, she wanted to bring something her fans could relate to.
Itz Tiffany is currently with Midas touch record label.
She burst into the music scene in 2006 with her hit song 'Fake London boy'.
Tiffany has worked with top artistes like Castro, Asem, R2bees, Jay so, Sarkodie, captain planet of 4 x 4, Fuse ODG, Shaker, chase et al.
She has excited her fans with songs like fake London boy, Agyekoom, last one, Spanner, give them and many others.
