One of Ghana’s finest Hiplife artistes who won the hearts of many with his maiden song ‘Ahayede’, Nana Osei Bonsu better known as Nana Boroo, has revealed that two of Ghana’s top media personalities almost made him lose his passion for music.

Nana Boroo's "Ahayede' became a banger when it was released in 2010 and it topped the music charts in all radio stations in Ghana.

However, before the song became a hit, Nana who was speaking on ‘Aben Wo Ha’, Mid-morning show on Kasapa 102.5 Fm, revealed that when he first came out with his hit song ‘Ahayede’, Kwami Sefa Kayi and Kofi Kum Bilson after listening to the song for some few seconds rubbished it.

The Tema based artiste said he was heartbroken and devasted after people gave their opinions about the song which featured SK Blinks.

He further narrated that had it not been the music producer, Kill Beats, he would have buried the song but was inspired to release the track which later became a banger and won him Most Popular Song of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards a year after in 2011.
