It is not so much that he should wear local clothing.
The man's problem is a natural one for which he cannot do anything.

He is just too short. This is a feature he shares with many Ghanaians. We have genes that make us short. His father was very short too. And he is on the shorter side of short. No matter what he wears, he won't look fine in it. He is not a particularly handsome man either and his advanced age makes him look even worse.
But we cannot blame him for the natural state.

He was so obsessed with Dubai that he christianed the Circle Interchange "Circle Dubai" despite his pretence of local fabric wearing. I care more about the impact of my President's policy leadership, prioritisation, and logic sequencing and transparent prudential investment of the national resources than whether he wears a sackcloth or royal robes.
