We do not have enough post secondary institutions to help our youth pursue advanced education so we made it tough to pass exams but we want free-education. We do want smart people from our limited number of post secondary education institutions so we allow bribery, corruption, favoritism, cronyism and political party preferences to drive admissions oh but we want free education. We do not have jobs for university graduates but we want free education that will make Ghana "classroom intelligent" nation with majority of its educated youth unemployed. In all of these free stuff we have not heard from companies crying to government to help find qualified workers at any profession why? It has never been about education but the environment for job creation. Our corruption has undermined a presumed competitive business climate and or social climate. So a company that should produce quality goods in Ghana will be forced to pay same VAT on supplies from outside and inside Ghana while an outfit that brings all their finished goods from outside Ghana can bribe their way through customs and undermine locally produced and or assembled products. In the mean time we have people in the entertainment industry complain about dumsor, tell us about their US$70,000 vehicles and yet too dumb to have invested the US$70,000 amount in their houses to be self reliant on free solar powered or wind energy to give them all the electricity they need.
The media are as ignorant if not more so than the rest of society. Letting a political party feed you information and calling it exclusive is not information; information must be the truthful/accurate and not half truths if it is to inform. Investigative journalism is lost in Ghana because of a lazy professional group who are bought and sold like the bought and sold politicians. Throw easy money at the media and or politicians and poke their belly button and they will dance and sing like the Pillsbury dough boy.

The politicians and a select group of civil society agents designed a peculiar system to plunder, and are still in cahoots with the foreign oil companies.
