Under no circumstances should a regional chairman of any political party superimpose his authority over a Minister of state. Naabu acted ultra vires and sanctioning him would also serve a valuable purpose in the hierarchical makeup of the Party.
As I have always maintained, the core principles of every democracy lie in law, order, and good government. Without these core principles, there is no democracy. It is very evident in our country that there is no law, no order, and regrettably no good government; it is banana democracy as in banana republic. We as a people fail every time we copy from other civilizations. We are very poor students by any measure.
The four Asian Tigers, (Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan) take what the west has given them, then refine it to suit their culture and customs and come ahead every time better than any African country except perhaps the rump South Africa, which by the way is becoming another basket case under black rule.
