The most annoying is that our Isalamic schoalars in Ghana are preaching against social vices in our community.
Their form of preaching is to put fear in to our people, while we are the most friendly, kindly and social people on this eearth. The Quran is meant for the Arabs because of their wicked and unhuman character.

What is happening is modern day slavery, pure and simple. The method of luring people and then capturing to sell them into slavery is not different from how some slaves were acquired in the old slavery system. And their treatment is not even any better. In fact, not all slaves got bad treatment under even the old system, like what's happening to some of those Africans now.
And just as in the old slave trade, ordinary but powerful people were key players, not only chiefs, so don't blame chiefs alone. It was pervasive touching almost every family, with even powerful slaves owning slaves in Africa. Some of the biggest slave dealers were thus not even chiefs. The mulattoes who became the dominant factors along the coast from Angola to Senegal were sons of slave women born to white slavers.
Yes, many of us have seen gruesome videos of black Africans being killed in the Arab/Islamic countries. Telling people not to go to Saudi Arabia or leave is hardly the solution. In fact, it is pathetic coping out. We need far stronger measures from our govts and civil society, including those of us abroad.
Let civil society organise demonstrations to the embassies of the identified violating countries, with a big screen showing the gruesome killings. These should happen not only in front of their African embassies but their embassies overseas too - London, Paris, Berlin, Rome, Washington, etc., etc. Let us give maximum publicity to the atrocities.
Sub-Saharan African websites should carry the videos and call for signatures to be sent to the UN.

For Ghanaians anywhere outside Ghana is a greener pasture. They are so obsessed with travelling and wont mind spending thousands of dollars to migrate to Haiti or Yemen in search of good life
