About 100 golfers from various clubs in the country are expected to grace the event
The MTN final golf tournament for the year comes off December 9 at the Celebrity Golf Course at Sakumono.
About 100 golfers from various clubs in the country have been extended invitations to participate.
Prominent among the clubs are Tema, 37, obuasi, Royal Golf club,Kumasi, Damaang Goldfields as well as Takoradi golf club.
According to Mr Emmanuel Gyasi, Business Development Manager at MTN, during the year under review, MTN sponsored golf competitions across the country of the prominent ones include the CEO Invitational Tournaments in sakumono celebrity and Takoradi, Tema Classic golf tournament as well South Africa Freedom Day Tournament at Celebrity.
Mr Gyasi emphasized that MTN has used the opportunity golf offers to interact with their high value clients who also seizes the opportunity offered by the competition to share business ideas and network on the golf course.
''A lot of business deals are hatched and executed during golf play''he said.
''Again as much as its an opportunity to relax after a heavy days work at the office, MTN uses this opportunity to say thank you to our high value customers.
According to him MTN their continue in their golf sponsorship in 2018 with the introduction on new innovations.
''We will continue to own the golf space and continue to encourage and motivate more Ghanaians to take up the sport.'' he stressed.
Prizes for Saturday's event include trophies, devices as well as broadbands for winners.
