Author: American Posted: 2012-05-07 15:00:38 Doesn't anyone find the idea of asking Arabs (living in scorched deserts) for money to build a school feeding program (in a tropical savanna) entirely absurd? It's almost as bad as countries leasing their farmland away to white South Africans, who will simply set dogs and machine guns on the property and occupy it just as in the good old days.
Aren't there books on the internet that teach farming practices suitable for the tropical wet-and-dry climate that prevails over subsaharan Africa? Granted, farmers are not known for literacy, or internet access, but certainly university professors in the rural areas can read it for them. If not, why have rural universities at all?
