Interestingly, all the 17 projects mentioned in the report were projects that were awarded and executed by the then Manya Krobo District Assembly now lower Manya District Assembly. Some of these projects were awarded as far back as 2005 under the NPP led Administration when the Upper Manya District was not been created. The auditor general report for 2009 has therefore exposed the NPP government profligate spending and fraudulent acts of awarding contracts without going through procurements process.
The party is therefore responsible for the colossal loss of founds mentioned in the Auditor’s Report. The projects and their year of award and execution are attached for the public information
