This is because while they stow their families behind high-walled residences in Ghana or in plush apartments and houses overseas, these foot soldiers go about doing their dirty work of stupid 'politicking' for them. If the foot soldiers lose their lives in the process, the politicians make more political points by donating a few hundred cedis of drinks, rice, oil etc to the poor bereaved families. Drilling some sense into these supporters, therefore, deprives them of the vehicle to achieve the political heights they crave. Well done, KSM. Keep the fight going!!
