Promoted King Faisal CEO Odotei quits

pic 54450230 Vincent Sowah Odotei says he wants to quit King Faisal just days after the club's return to the Ghana Premier League.
The state owned Graphic Sports reported on Monday that the ambitious football administrator wants to seek a fresh challenge.
The former Hearts of Oak Chief Executive is credited for returning the club to the Ghana top-flight after only a year in the second-tier.
"I think it is time to quit King Faisal and club administration at least for now," Odotei is quoted by the Graphic Sports.
"I believe I have made a good contribution by laying some structures upon which King Faisal can build for the future."
Odotei joined the Kumasi-based side three years ago and was instrumental in securing sponsorship from telecommunication giants MTN before their demotion at the end of the 2010/2011 season.
"I will have a chat with Alhaji (Karim Gruzah, founder and owner of Faisal) and then we will move on from there.
"Seriously, my involvement in football club administration; in fact, I hardly have time for my business and its office."
Odotei became popular in football circles when he decided to contest for the Ghana FA presidency last year.
But he was disqualified from the race for electoral irregularities.
King Faisal beat Sekondi Hasaacas 2-0 last Friday in Tema in a replay of their zone II Division One promotional play-off.
