Essien shouldn't rush a return to the Black Stars- Auggust

pic 24040929 Coach Ken Auggust has advised Michael Essien to concentrate on his club career following a loan move to Real Madrid before considering a return to the Black Stars.
Michael Essien has not played for the Black Stars since an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Congo in Kumasi in 2011 and many have suggested the 29 year old will help his club career by returning to the National team quickly after asking for time off.
But according to Ken Auggust who is JOY Sports technical analyst, Essien must first sort out his club future before thinking of making a return to the Black Stars.
“Even though I’m a Ghanaian, I will advise he tackles Real Madrid first before making the normal international rounds” , said Coach Auggust
“If he is unable to settle well and starts jumping in and around I think it will not augur well for him. Playing for Ghana is always there for him so let’s all support him to settle well at Real Madrid then we can think of him making a return to the national team”.
The Ghanaian midfielder joined Real Madrid on transfer deadline day for a season-long loan deal from Chelsea. He joins ex-Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, who signed him from Lyon in 2005, at the Bernabeu.
