From now to the end of the month, these drugs will benefit poor people. Expired medication don't kill, they simply don't work. What of the used beds and mattresses donated from overseas. Do we check their expiry dates or criticize them? What the hospital should do is, use those which are good and simply destroy the bad/expired drugs.

However,donated reagents for lab tests with expiration date may be suitable for the test if used against known controls and the controls works. In the same manner pre-owned equipment such as clutches glasswares ,wheelchairs etc donated must be accepted and sue without any problem. What we must understand is that because of technological advances the devoloped and rich countries replace equipment quite often. We can not do as they do .They accept their waseful nature and those among them who are compassionate believe that instaed of wasting those equipment they can donate it to the needy.
