I don't personally have any reason to complain about the President being shown on National television and for the amount of time allotted to his activities provided, it will be done in good faith. But GBC did not exercise that faith in their reportage on that day. Three political activities were reported in the midday version of the news of that day. The President,s visits, the New Vision Party delegates conference and Nana Akufo Addo visit to Ashaiman. The two news items enumerated above were repeated in the 2pm news. But Nana Akufo Addo visit was expunged from the repeat
news. To me, this is not reasonable and must not be encouraged. The only reason I can deduce to the GBC action is that the turnout of the crowd of Nana's visit was massive. It may have sent chills down the spine of some powerful politicians who ordered the news
blackout. GBC, be fair and firm.
