Author: Paa Posted: 2012-09-15 01:43:51 I wish Mr Ben Kouffie had been critical on the performance of Kwesi rather than being indecisive. For me Kwasi cannot carry Ghana Football anywhere. He should have head-coached a local team prior to the highest position. He is dull and does not possess any gesture of a coach. It is my candid opinion that he resign as soon as possible or he risk loosing his name.

ALL OUR COACHES NEED SOME AGGRESSION
Author: Daddy K Posted: 2012-09-15 03:54:43 Well spoken Uncle Ben...Infact ALL our coaches in Ghana need some amount of aggressiveness in heir approach... so that our players could demonstrate some amount of aggression too...Our player is a bit too soft at times..This accounts for our lack of pace and low score lines....The BLACKSTARS need it..the Black maidens would have done better if their play had a little more purposefullness and aggression against the aggressive Germans and even the US..the maidens were good but shy away only from some extra amount of aggressive attack.

APPIAH NEEDS TARKASHI
Author: Nana Boateng Amofah Posted: 2012-09-15 06:25:03 Uncle, thank good you looking fantastically healthy and great here. The last time we met was in Gaboroni-Botswana with Nanahemah your wife, at the Afican Mall, then at your meat supermarket shop. (smile)
I think Kwasi Appiah should count himself very lucky to have such strong patriot football personalities with huge experiences, still football current, form some national advising committee with membership of all of such past experienced men and women in the football fraternity to move the national team forward.
The Black Star team is one of the greatest legacy Ghana have that still unite us as people and country and put our national flag higher above other countries.
The nation's culture, potential natural and human resources and the image, could be globally exploited through general sports, expecially football where Ghana has made his strong presents felt.
We should all give our full support to the indigeneous coach to perform and succeed to prove to the world that, politically the African is capable of managing her own affairs. Kwasiah Appiah's appointment as the national coach should be made to work so that Ghana and Africa for that matter stops the importations of ordinary school sport teachers from Europe as despicably national coaches.
Kwasi, the man with the magic tourch in football has spoken, you need what the Hausah call "tar-ka-shi" roughness and hopefully, you listen. Wish you all the best!!!
Kwasi Appiah needs abit of roughness.
Author: Francis Sampson Anobaah Posted: 2012-09-15 06:55:37 the black stars can not qualify for South Africa or Brazil under this coach.
Re: Kwasi Appiah needs "a bit of roughness" - Ben
Author: kkk Posted: 2012-09-15 07:18:20 If CK Gyamfi won the cup 3 times and if a local coach has won the under 20 world cup, how can you say that "If Appiah fails it would indicate that the Black man is incapable of managing his own affairs"? That is measured by the performance and behavior of people in leadership positions, their role is very important because the whole world is watching. This is not the time for them to be drunk with the love for material worth, what for? The glorious future of our people should be their goal because we are down on our knees as a people. This is not the time for party politics but the time to assemble the best brains no matter their tribe, religion or party for a better Ghana.
I warned you about Kwasi Appiah
Author: Naijaman Posted: 2012-09-15 07:44:50 Let us face facts, this guy does not have the experience to coach Black Stars. He has prior to this never even coached a 3rd Division side. I mean how come? Who born Dog?

Black stars Dimming Under Kwasi Appiah
Author: Whatever Posted: 2012-09-15 09:06:17 Until Kwasi Appiah understand the meaning of the word 'team, transitional counter attacks and pressing high up the pitch', he is going to mess up like that.
@footyhangover

He didn't get the job on merit
Author: Jeff, UK Posted: 2012-09-15 12:52:29 Kwasi Appiah didnot get the job on merit. It was as a result of the hue and cry from Ghanaians for a Ghanaian coach to be in the helm of affairs. Apparently, the foreign coaches have been fleecing Ghana for too long. Appiah just happened to be in the right position at the right time.
Vague Advice
Author: Analyst Posted: 2012-09-15 13:36:23 Ben Koufie should have told Kwasi Appiah what he achieved with his own toughness when he was in charge. Such piece of advice is to say the least useless. How much is "bit"?
Nobody needs such a vague advice.
ghana have it all......
Author: mr,O canada Posted: 2012-09-15 13:52:45 ghana have it all, but kwasi don't know how to do with it.l am sorry kwasi,,,,
GOOD ADVICE!
Author: FO KOFI Posted: 2012-09-15 17:29:56 THIS IS EXCELLENT ADVICE! YOUR PLAYERS MAY EARN MORE THAN YOU BUT YOU ARE THEIR COACH. ABEDI PELE BOYS MAY BE GOOD BUT DO NOT FIELD THEM IF THEY ARE NOT FIT TO PLAY. DISCIPLINE THOSE WHO IGNORE WHAT YOU WANT THE TEAM TO DO. THAT IS THE BASIS OF INSTILLING DISCIPLINE AND YOUR AUTHORITY. GOD BLESS
God bless u Ben koufie

Kwasi Appiah - Wrong Black Man
Author: Tintin Posted: 2012-09-15 22:16:45 Akwasi Appiah is the wrong Black man to coach the Black Stars. I say get Marcel Desailly
Qualified coach
Author: Doe Posted: 2012-09-15 23:44:02 Ghana have quality prayers but we don`t have a qualified coach. For the fact that Akwesi Appiah was a great prayer does n`t make him a great coach. Akwesi is not a coach to carry Black Star anywhere.Let`s put color aside and look for a qualified coach.
kwasi appiah to be tough.
Author: geoffrey doe Posted: 2012-09-16 08:47:00 we need strikers like Edward aquah,Amusah Gbadamashie,Osei koffie, you know where Iam heading. We should also not forget Baba Yara etc.
Re: Kwasi Appiah needs "a bit of roughness" - Ben
Author: ghanaba Posted: 2012-09-16 09:44:49 this is a national team and like davis cup in tennis i am for a citizen as a coach. if a coach had whispered or given a word of encouragement into the ears of gyan he would never had missed that penalty. although tennis living legend rf has not won much for swiss tennis team, he allows himself to be coached by luthi who had no glory in his tennis career. our boys should just relate to appiah as an uncle, could have been a father, a senior in the profession and most of all respect and intimacy which is a black man's number one enemy. we easily compromise respect, obedience and social or any other status. we know very well that success models have always been modest. have the opportunity to talk to abedi and his star-children and you may learn a lesson of humility. i had my share in zurich and vevey some years back in switzerland. a national team cannot buy players during mecato and not only there is no commercial factor but the strength of your team compared to the rest of the world. look at the number of coaches germany and even bresil have quenched at the laps of their various international conquest. until italy understood that it is G.d who chooses nationality and colour, they have never come that far in any international competition as previously. it is only God who pulls down one and exalts the other. our national team performances, that took us that far on the international scene is nothing compared to the abedis and the yeboahs. someone may say there were open conflicts. conflict or no conflict they performed better. the drogba who lost a penalty shoot out to benefit ivory coast for the african cup, won the first champions' league for chelsea through the same ordeal. in a nutshell we dont need a super hero as a national team coach, but how best we could portray the culture of football in our country through the most talents of the moment. in the four-letter team we can coin mate, meat, eat, ate met.tea,at, tema. we have more natoinal focus demanding issues in our nation, football could never be a scapegoat because it shall ever remain a sport. to conclude, platini could not coach france but he is the boss of uefa. pele was a sports minister for very brief moment.
APPAIH
Author: john Posted: 2012-09-16 10:35:24 please let APPIAH KNOW THAT WE ARE NOT IMPRESSESD OF HIS PERFORMANCE SO FAR.ALL ALONG ITS LIKE WE HAVE TO GIVE HIM TIME TO ADJUST.HOWEVER IF YOU WAIT TOO LONG TOO THE HARM WILL BE DONE. PLEASE APPIAH BACK UP.
