40th-day customary mourning of Professor Mills deferred

The commemoration of the 40th-day customary mourning of Professor John Evans Atta Mills has been deferred in view of ongoing consultations with the allied families.

A statement issued by Fritz Baffour, Minister of Information on Friday and copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra added that a new date would be announced in due course.

President Mills passed away on 24th July 2012 at the 37 Military Hospital after a short illness.
