Is there any conflict of interest regarding the deal? When was the company formed and by who? Is there any politician behind the award of the contract or behind the formation of the company? What justifies such a large contract to this company? Do we need GHC 10 million worth of presciption form at a go? What's the history of the company? Non of these was addressed. It seems the officials of NHIS have lots of questions to answer and is it true that sly owns a printing press?Get ready sly.More soon.

Author: AGYAAKU Posted: 2012-09-16 15:04:13 One sure way of eliminating or minimizing fraudulent practices in NHIS is to adopt the French system. The French system is fully centrally computerized and is monitored at a central point.
Prescriptions are monitored at the central point and records kept. This checks against fraud in "prescribing unnecessary drugs" as the central monitor is able to check prognosis against prescription.
NHIS can send officers to study the French system and should it be adopted, can go a long way to reduce incidents of fraudulent practices as is prevailing now.
