He added that "we seek to increase access and improve the quality of education because if I pay the fees of the few people who are in school what do I do about the large numbers of people who are outside the school system.

Author: MAHAMA is the Man! Posted: 2012-09-19 04:42:51 THESE ARE THE REALISTIC PLANS THAT GHANA NEEDS. NOT THE EXAGGERATED, UNREALISTIC AND OVER-AMBITIOUS PLANS PROPOSED BY THE LYING AND DYING NPP. GOD IS WITH THE NDC.

God Bless NDC for Ghana
Author: Nkrumah Posted: 2012-09-19 04:49:05 We Ghanaians are thankful for all the clever minds in NDC party who selflessly deliver in the interest of the wider population, especially the poor and marginalised.
Letter to saint Atta Mills
Author: Ghost Posted: 2012-09-19 04:49:27 How is heaven? God? And Jesus? Hope all is well up there. We are enjoying the supposed peace you left us with hoping that you are entreating God to spare us the calamity that may befall us because of what Afari Djan wants to do. Tell God to let this cup pass over us. We are happy that the latest "fanteman" to ascend the presidency, I mean the vice, has been inaugurated in the person of PK Amissah Arthur, or rather Atta. I have a problem. The people who took charge to organize your funeral are destroying your image after claiming that you paid the ULTIMATE PRICE by your death. I never knew you were a sacrificial lamb who had to die to unite the NDC, definitely not Ghana!!! Now you can only speak to us in dreams and visions because if you dare appear physically we will all run away from you and may break your heart. Destroying your image because your portraits, black/red buntings, banners and other funeral paraphernalia strewn in town at a very high cost of 3 million cedis are now left at the mercy of the weather to gather dust, parasites, algae and a plethora of dirt. In some cases you cannot even be identified. Since they consider you a saint and would obey whatever you tell them, please ask permission from God and give them dreams and visions above what they can handle to consciously order the removal of these paraphenalia, at least, your portraits to save your image like that of Kwame Nkrumah who rather paid the ultimate price and whose portraits are not strewn in town. Anyway, have you met him? Tell Mahama, your anointed successor, in a dream or vision that keeping your image in town may work against him at the Dec elections. The Ghanaian voters that the NDC did all to keep illiterate may think that you are still contesting for the election with your portraits all over the place only to find at last that you are not because your picture will not be on the ballot sheet. The obvious choice will then be to choose Akufo Addo whose picture will be on the sheet. Akufo Addo is very well known compared to your Mahama. Remember even when you were the ONLY ONE president school kids still thought that Akufo Addo was the president of Ghana. Surely you had a rude awakening and caused your portrait to be scattered in Ghanaian schools. I will ask your favour to ask that you tell the NDC to back off attacking the church. Interestingly Arch Bishop Desmond Tutu was center in the SA struggle for self rule. If the ANC had antagonized him where will SA be by now? The current minning workers impasse in SA was settled peacefully by a church bishop. I will call on you again to plead with the babies with sharp teeth you have left on this earth to torment us.
GOOD MEN

Mr.Figure-Out Report on Free Education
Author: MR. FIGURE-OUT Posted: 2012-09-19 05:15:22 The impact of free education in the North cannot be downplayed as far the benefits and the tremendous successes it has chalked in the socio-economic jurisprudence of Ghana my happy home are concerned. Talk of huge human capital it has invested in the nation with due recognition to some prominent individuals like ex-prez Hilla Limann of blessed memory, Ayerebola Antomemi, Lionel Mobilla, Dr. Ibn Chambas, Dr. Mohammed Ben Addella, Moses Asaga, Martin Amidu the Great, Bagbin, Kumbour, Huudu Yahya and, all the way to Greedy Mahama and even Alhaji Bature and many many thousands of others, then one has no choice than to support the free education policy of the visionary, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo and the NPP, to bring properity to poor Ghana. So help us all, Oh God, Amen!

Author: Steven Agbeko Posted: 2012-09-19 05:21:05 Talking about education, what happens to textbooks in our own languages? Keep in mind that the so called official languages English, Franch etc are only there to fool you to become something other what you really are. Think about it this way, they were once languages spoken by minorities just like me and you and still are the vernacular languages for the people who actually speak them, ok?
Good one there...Very True...

national destroyers company(ndc)
Author: attu zongo Posted: 2012-09-19 07:05:46 what is realistic about this? was it not your so called founder who destroyed education in Ghana hence the negative social vices in society? examples where is M.S.L.C, G.C.E (O & A levels)? where are technical schools? some years ago schools offer free ex books, and text books, also free chops sometimes in schools. forcing the children to complete schools earlier and come and rest in the house without any job, is that what the ndc wants? in fact the crops of team C players now are extremely vision less, even the team B coach was a 10% good than this crops, with the new criminal chief of staff;hundu yahaya to loot gargantuan is really disappointing and stinking in the history of west Africa politics. look the 4 yrs introduced by the NPP is better than the propaganda 3 yrs now! NPPPPPPPPP all the way.
Is Primary & JHS Free
Author: Francis Posted: 2012-09-19 08:05:39 Please check the government Primary and JHS that is doing well in their BECE. Parents have to make extra contributions to support the system, maintain the structures, provision of sanitary conditions for the school to study in good environment for good results.
Kindly compare the results of Sakumono Complex in Tema to Other schools.
Even the current level of capitation is not enough.
THEIR CHILDREN ARE IN FOREIGN SCHOOLS
Author: Aisha Posted: 2012-09-19 09:40:43 An educational policy by a group of iliterates who forced a system down the throats of Ghanaians and sent their own children out of the system to foreign schools?

POLITICIANS MUST TALK ABOUT SPECIFICS
Author: MARCUS AMPADU Posted: 2012-09-19 12:17:59 All the politicians and their political parties are not being straight forward with Ghanaians on the question of their educational policies.
Either they don't understand the gravity of the challenges our educational system faces or they are deliberately glossing things over to make a statement in an election year.
The NDC's "pragmatic and realistic" educational policy is as vacuous as the NPP's promise of a fee free SHS education for the young people of Ghana. Both are long on promises but woefully short on specifics.
Missing from the debate are the specifics, the nitty-gritty, nuts and bolts of what they plan to implement and how:
How many schools under trees are going to be replaced with new school buildings? Where are they located? The cost?
How many school children will be receiving the fee free education? How many will be boarders? How many will be attending day schools?
How much will be invested in improving teacher quality and professional development, especially in the rural areas? educational technology? Academic versus vocational-technical?
What will be the nature of curriculum development? New textbooks and instructional materials? The role of parents, stakeholders, and community members in the educational enterprise? How are objectives and goals going to be measured?
Between now and December, the politicians and their policy-makers should be giving us the details of how they plan to increase access and improve quality, and provide quality education that is free.
NDC Education Policy
Author: Slick ben Posted: 2012-09-19 12:44:52 Please be a liitle specific with how, where you reduce waste in Government spending to build additional classrooms? The cost of building classrooms has doubled under Mills-Mahama administration. Please don't take us as fools, because you're fooling yourself. ( No vision)
