Author: PROGENY Posted: 2012-09-25 13:05:02 A pass rate of 46.63% in 2011 to 99.6% in 2012 is a gargantuan jump and it's quite interesting.Have we now got the quality that we want to achieve?.We are also being told that 65% of those who passed have been placed in Senior Secondary Schools and that a large part of the remaining 35% will be placed soon.Does this mean that access to SHS is not a big deal after all. Wonders will never end.They are just playing with our minds.

The DI engages in shallow analysis, criticizes a lot, and does not give the much needed recommendation that could benefit the nation as a whole.
The nation could use some recommendation regarding what to do about the high percentage of JHS gaining admission to SHS.
Accessibility instead of free SHS.
