Ghana needs more optimistic people - Prez Mahama

President John Mahama has noted that Ghana needs people who are optimistic for the country to develop in the face of challenging times.
President Mahama added that looking at the problems the country is currently going through, Ghana needs optimists rather than people who think it cannot be done.
The president made these remarks on Sunday when he paid a visit to the Word Miracle Church International, at Dzorwulu in Accra.
President Mahama noted that there was the need for Ghanaians to recognize the successes of the nation in order to build on them.
“We see a nation which has become and will continue to be the model of Africa, we see a nation which will continue to have successful elections and hand over power from leader to leader and continue to make progress…We see a nation where we will see technological progress because we are optimists,” he observed.
He also reiterated his commitment to ensure peaceful elections come December 7.
He said government will work closely with the security agencies to ensure that the country records one of the most peaceful elections in its history come December.
