Did the exterior of the suitcase has any indication of the contents?

Was the police alerted right away to try to track and apprehend the 'thief'?
Is it possible someone from Otumfour's team or one of his confidantes provided all the information about the suitcase to the alleged 'thief'?

How much is the jewelry worth?
Will a committee be setup to investigate how this happened and how a recurrence can be avoided ?
