ECG owes Asogli Plant $21m

The Electricity Company of Ghana continues to pile up debts it owes the company.

Director of the Asogli Plant, Togbe Afede XIV is complaining bitterly about a whopping 21 million dollars owed it by ECG.

He has therefore called on the government to intervene.

The Asogli which has been temporary shutdown adds about 200megawatts to the national grid.

Togbe Afede who was complaining to President John Mahama at a stakeholders’ forum Tuesday said this makes investments unattractive.
