Did family pass through the right channe

Author: AMINA YEBOAH Posted: 2012-10-18 03:56:17
I extend my sympathies and condolences to the family of the deceased and pray that he may rest in peace. The question I like to ask is , did the family pass through the right channels after the accident or did the family just let things end there because the accident was caused by the deputy MP?

Bad journalism

Author: kwesi Posted: 2012-10-18 03:56:38
Poor and Biased reporting.
He did not even contact the MP to Determine his side of the story.
Cheap journalist. Is that what they teach at school of journalism now?

Take Mr Quansah to court for a redress.

The insurance company would have to take care when it goes to court.

Accra is not Ghana

Author: Nii Kojo Posted: 2012-10-18 04:40:10
MAHAMA SHOULD DO SOMETHING IF HE REALLY WANT TO WIN. It looks as if we don't have matured leaders in Ghana. Or maybe they naive. Why do we want to build another international airport in Accra? Is Accra the only city in Ghana? We know our problems but still adds more to it. Can't Kumasi airport which is the second busiest airport in the country be upgraded into in'tl status?. . It's an absolute madness

SUCH HEARTLESS BABOON IN POWER

Author: Kennedy Adongo Posted: 2012-10-18 04:49:25
No wonder our country is cursed and facing all sorts of untold social insecurity and hardships with such bonkers of heartlessly reckless baboon criminals in power.

How could a whole minister misbehaved in such an astonishingly uncultured and uncarring manner? Indeed some of the people running the corridors of power in our country today are just
human by face but monstrous animals inside.

He knocked and killed a father and yet was not made to face the laws of the land simply because in the 21st century Ghana under these unscrupulously NDC hoodlum baboons,
a political figure or any unkept crook criminal with political connections is above the laws of the land.

Where did Ghana went wrong?

Oh Ghana

Author: Yusif Posted: 2012-10-18 04:49:30
OOh Ghana so do you mean this Minister is above the laws of this nation. this a big shame .the law must take his due course.

IT IS ALL SAID WELL. WE ARE ALL HUMAN BEINGS AND MAY BE OUT OF SYMPATY THE HON MP HAVE TO GIVE THIS FAMILY SOMETING. BUT ONE WILL ASK IF THERE IS NP INSURANCE ON THE MP'S VEHICLE. IF NO THEN THE FAMILY HAVE TTO SUE THE MP AND CLAIM DAMAGES FOR THE DECEASED. HOWEVER IF THERE IS INSURANCE THEN I BELIEVE THIS PUBLISHERS WHOM I BELIEVE THEY KNOW ABOUT LAWS ON ACCIDENT SHOULD ADVISE THE FAMILY TO GO IN FOR ACCIDENT REPORT FROM THE POLICE AND GET A LAWYER TO PROCESS THIER CLAIMS AND LIVE THE HON MP ALONE. NO ONE CAN USE THIS FOR POLITICAL GAINS. THE LAW MUST TAKE ITS COURSE. RULE OF LAW SHOULD BE SEEN WORKING.

Did he have insurance coverage on the vehicle? Then the best to do is report the case to the police and chase his insurance company. Where are the good lawyers in Ghana?

WAS THE MINISTER'S CAR NOT INSURED?

Author: Luther King Posted: 2012-10-18 10:36:42
it is not the minister's responsibility to pay nay compensation. that is for the insurance company except that the minister's car was not insured, in which case criminal proceedings can be initiared against the minister. what the minister did was just on humanitarian grounds and he does not owe the bereaved family. if the police think the minister was reckless, they can arrest and try him for recklessness. the paper cannot even tell how much compensation the minister promised. another bad journalism.

So pathetic

Author: Sualeeeeeeeee Posted: 2012-10-18 10:48:49
Issues of this nature we don't need to politicize it. Accidents are bound to happen, Accidents are supposed to be reported to the appropriate cotters for redress. 1.Was the case reported? 2. If it was why not go to the Police but the MPs house. We should not also be blaming the deceased for bringing forth plenty cos he was also looking after them and since the unfortunate didn't happen we never heard them complain as well.

Dishonourable Nincompoops

Author: Nana Banyin Posted: 2012-10-18 12:47:15
The question that must be asked is was this deputy minister's car insured? If it was then a claim must be made on the insurers for appropriate compensation to be paid. If the car was not insured then the deputy minister broke the law and must be prosecuted. Ignorance of the law and our rights appear to be holding our people back as far as their human rights are concerned. Surely this law maker must know these facts and should as a matter of honour, integrity and common sense go out of his way to see to it that his insurers adequately compensate this unfortunate family. It is unbelievable that we continue to have these nincompoops holding elected offices in our country when they cannot uphold the law and serve the constituents they chose to serve. For far too long we the electorate end up serving these idiots. They also have the gall to refer to themselves as ' honourable'. Honourable, my foot!

SUE HON.QUANSAH FOR COMPENSATORY DAMAGES

Author: MenayeAFUAforiwa Posted: 2012-10-18 13:04:18
Sue him in court. It is only the court that can determine the compesation Mr. Quansah should give to the families of the late Samuel Inkoom. At the same token the families should know that no matter how much they may get from Mr.Quansah it would not be able to cater for all the children for ever but it could do something in their lives for some time.My advice for the two wives is for them to come together and look for a good lawyer who understands the LAW and sue the socalled honourable in court for COMPENSATORY and PUNITIVE damages.Compensatory and Punitive are two different law suites.which could bring substantial money to cater for the 14 children till they get to high schools.
