He wakes up everyday to realise that he is no longer the Chairman Rawlings of the PNDC,or the president on the ticket of the NDC, and this emotionally crushes him severely. He is bitter, confused, cocky, funny, frustrated and no longer satisfied with anything anyone does. Instead of Nana Konadu advising him to see a psychologist for these troubles, she formed a political party and has started campaigning talking about ideals and principles she doesn't truly believe exist. Pity this couple. Ferdinand Marcos of Philipine was executed with his wife for corruption, but Rawlings will die slowly from emotional torments. With the support of this very woman he has shed the blood of too many. What the Rawlingses need now is understanding and pity. But to take their pronouncements serious and even vote for his wife is senseless.

Rawlings mind is in turmoil. 33 long years after the bloody upheavals he's worried about the legacy he's going to bequeath to ghanaians of coming generations.
