You have to wonder how much he contributed to the mischief and chaos we saw unfold in Libya where he served as ambassador. What message is he sending by paying Rawlings a visit? I fear trouble ahead for Ghana with characters like this ambassador now in Ghana. There is no doubt that one of the reasons for which the USA and its allies orchestrated the removal of Gadafi was because of the growing influence of the Chinese in that country. The folly of removing Gadafi is now clear to all. The Western allies now have a Libya in the grip of virulently anti USA and anti western forces with Ai quida running amok. The killing of the US ambassador there is a sign of how bad things have now got in a lawless Libya. Let's hope our western friends have learnt lessons in Libya Egypt etc.Let us hope this man has not been sent here to cause divisions and mischief because of consistently misguided USA foreign policy. Ghana has no desire to become a pawn in USA China rivalry. Let us hope our leaders have their eyes wide open. Another issue that feels one with anxiety. Why did the USA train Ghana's special forces? Was it to allow them to intervene in our affairs from within the armed forces. Add all these factors together and the future does not bode well for Ghana.
