OH mahama
Author: Ghana Posted: 2012-10-31 11:56:34 President John Dramani Mahama has asked the good people of Ghana to blame the Almighty God, and not his ruling National Democratic Congress administration for the erratic and rampant spates of “light off” that has hit the country ever since the NDC took over the reins of governance.
Then continue to blame God for this one confuse president
health and safety non-existent

Author: kodi Posted: 2012-10-31 12:12:57 nitrogen is inert and does not explode.
Explosion-WAGP
Author: Search for Truth Posted: 2012-10-31 12:48:24 This highlights the fact that safety was not a priority for this project.Someone must be held accountable here. Can they show us their HSE policy.Ill bet you anything they cant.We need to take Health & Safety more seriously and create more awareness of the potential risks.

Author: WILLIAM Posted: 2012-10-31 12:55:36 May they rest in peace;our sympathies to the bereaved families and the company. And may the company learn from this to step up safety measures, as advised by Nana Aduafo.
AN AVOIDABLE ACCIDENT
Author: TKD Posted: 2012-10-31 13:05:59 I work as an Occupational Health and Safety Officer.Take me serious, this is the result of the failure of organisations in Ghana to demand as a rule Method statements prior to the commencement of any tasks.
Safety officers in this country are not encouraged to do their jobs as they know it. let alone brand them too known.
It is a sad incident though, all regulatory bodies in this country must therefore sit up now before we loose our young engineers in what is preventable.
They should rest in peace.

SELF-CONTRADICTION?
Author: OTCHERE DARKO Posted: 2012-10-31 13:27:41 "He described the incident as a sad one adding that measure must be put in place to ensure the safety of the engineers.
Nana Adams however emphasized that the pipeline is however safe for gas to flow."
Two contradictory statements.
WHY DID THE EXPLOSION OCCUR IF "THEPIPELINE IS SAFE FOR GAS TO FLOW"?
Chief Fisherman?
Author: iBEG Posted: 2012-10-31 13:45:57 May their souls rest in peace. But in what capacity does a Chief Fisherman comment on the safety of an engineering issue? As to telling Ghananians the pipe are safe now? hmmmmmmmmm
Explosion kills two
Author: THE TEXAN Posted: 2012-10-31 14:45:21 Is this a Chinese application?Hmmm cheap things cost at last.We have to be careful of their substandard products being championed by the NDC and Mahama because of kick backs.

so the gods didn't accept the bribe?
Author: Gbesi Posted: 2012-10-31 20:17:01 Sipa Yankey must refund Oman Ghana's money because the gods didn't accept the so-called pacification rituals.
Is there any Startup Training?
Author: EHS Posted: 2012-10-31 23:09:40 The authorities just focussed on the chop chop and forget about the safety of these things? Get ready Ghana when the gas plant start running.
Technical competence
Author: sojaman 1 Posted: 2012-11-01 02:34:20 I wonder the technical competence of the CHIEF FISHERMAN to declare the pipeline "SAFE" for use.
Nitrogen accidents
Author: stephanie Biney Posted: 2012-11-01 12:16:17 I pray that nothing of that will happen again.
All the necessary safety measures should be put in place to avoid such occurrences again.
