If you have 9,000 Ghana cedis approved for you as a monthly salary for being a minister alone, your position as an MP also comes with a whooping 7,200 Ghana cedis a month, would you be worried or care about somebody who earns 200 Ghana cedis a month and wants just something small as a top up? Civil Servants had not received salary as at yesterday. Whether salaries have gone through today only God knows. Thank you very much Ghana Government.

At the end of the month one goes to the bank and whatever is there then you take it as your salary. The so called 18% arrears has still not been paid to some of us and yet this government wants us to vote for them to retain them in power?

This is balderdash; is it the sit-down strike that would bring something good to the CLOSAG? They are just doing the bidding of some political actors. They can't hold Ghana to ransom. What is this? Everybody gets up and is either going on strike or threatening to go on strike. Is that a good alternative to negotiation? We haven't been told that negotiations between them and other stakeholders broke down without the possiblity of a break-through.
