SHAME UNTO THE NPP!
This is a better attempt at stealing the NDC manifesto than simply giving them a place to sleep as Akufo-Addo put it the first time around with his promise of "free hostels"! It only means that the NPP is no longer stealing a part of that policy, but the whole idea! If you find the NDC idea as good, why don't you support them to come to power to implement them?
Forward Ever! Backwards Never! Long live Ghana!

Mahama proved to be out of touch
Author: Eric Posted: 2012-11-01 11:52:02 I think John Mahama's comments at that rally were very unfortunate. He did not even know the full extent of Nana Addo's policy. Because if he knew he would have known that the policy also included all the skill training aspect that he said he will do, though his gov't has done next to nothing in last 4 yrs.
In my view, the President was unintelligent and immature.
Why can't NPP create jobs in the north?
Author: YAWA Posted: 2012-11-01 11:57:11 Instead of NPP building hostels at south for the "Kayaye" who migrate from the north to south why can't they create jobs in the north to prevent them from migrating to south?
This is common sense!

Is the Prez. REALLY INFORMED??????
Author: Say the Truth Posted: 2012-11-01 11:58:18 IF THE STATEMENT OF THE NPP ABOUT AKUFFO ADDO'S presentation of the HOUSING SITUATION - then IT IS REALLY SAD TO HEAR ABOUT THE PRESIDENTS ATTACK!!!!
IS HE REALLY INFORMED - THE PRESIDENT OR IN A CONFUSED STATE OF MIND.
I WILL SAY EVEN WITHOUT THE FACTS OF THE MATTER STATED IN AKUFO ADDO'S HOUSING MEETING WITH GREDA - THE PRESIDENTS STATEMENT OF 'AN INSULT TO KAYAYE'S WAS UNCALLED FOR AND A "LOW BLOW" & VERY BAD FOR HIM!!!!

Author: Nana Posted: 2012-11-01 12:08:42 These NPP people are confused.
Re: NPP reacts to “Kayayei” criticisms
Author: AMA Posted: 2012-11-01 12:11:18 AKUFO ADDO WILL PROMISE ANYTHING JUST TO WIN POWER. BUT THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN BECAUSE THE GOOD PEOPLE OF GHANA CAN DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN CREDIBLE AND NON-CREDIBLE PROMISES. AKUFO ADDO IS POWER HUNGRY.

Next on NPP promise LIST
Author: Osei Yao Posted: 2012-11-01 12:19:02 What next is on the NPP promises list? A house for every cocoa farmer? this section of the community lives in huts and sit on pieces of wood, cook on firewood fire which is dangerous. Next is uniforms for farm labourers because they wear torn and tattered clothes to work. Next will be FREE TOILET ROLL foe those who shit on the beach!

Author: Ibrahim Kungfu Posted: 2012-11-01 12:26:55 THE NPP WANTS TO PERPETUATE OUR STATUS AS HEWERS OF WOOD AND DRAWERS OF WATER
AND WANTS TO PUT UP HOUSES FOR OUR UNFORTUNATE SISTERS THROUGH ITS DISCRIMINATIVE POLICIES AGAINST WE IN NORTHENERS.EXCEPT DESTROYING DAGBON AND THE NORTH WHAT DID THEY DO IN THEIR EIGHT YEARS RULE.

Infact, Nana Addo is the best choice
Author: Talk True and be free Posted: 2012-11-01 12:44:56 Comparing ideas and dreaming big, Nana is the best. What vision has John Mahama got? Nothing. Elee noko noko. Please Ghanaians, let us all join our thumbprints and vote NDC out. Vote for NPP and Nana Addo. God bless Nana Addo.
Excellent Policy Analysis

WORRIED ABOUT NPP DRIFT TO SOCIALISM
Author: OSEI NTIAMOAH Posted: 2012-11-01 13:16:48 Some of us in the NPP are getting disturbed by the socialistic drift of Akufo-Addo.
The free SHS education is socialistic, so is this young pioneer hostel idea for the Kayayei.
The Kayakaya phenomenon has been with us for a long time, the govt can invite religious organizations and charities to help the needy among us. Allow the market to decide their fate; the same with the free school idea, allow the market to decide. We are deviating from our property owning democracy ideology and we don't like it at all.
Enough of this beggar nation policies
Author: Abeeku Mensah Posted: 2012-11-01 13:29:09 The one think that is clear in this 2012 election cycle is the desperation of presidential candidates from NPP and NDC.I challenge anyone in the NPP to explain to Ghana (since NPP talks about economic systems and models from western civilized cultures) where the modern day governments promise a welfare state/nation?
Are there no government workers who have not been paid for over 30 days? Are there no government workers who have not been paid for over 60 and or 90 days? Are there no government debts that the government pays only the interest? This notion that the government of John Mahama or Nana Akufo-Addo is going to provide free things to Ghanaians is not only an absurdity but a promise can only be given by liars and bought by a nation of fools. If Nana Akufo-Addo and or John Mahama believe they have money to provide free stuff, the best thing they can do for us all is to make sure Ghana has continuous and uninterrupted electric supply and pipe-borne water for Ghanaians.
It is electric power that drives jobs and development while water helps sustain life and minimizes communicable diseases and dangerous diseases like Cholera etc. The only job for a government is to provide security via its armed forces and allow business and individual with entrepreneurial spirit. Government is not tasked with becoming a Father Christmas or Robin Hood. Enough of these foolish promises already.
