AGBENAAA!! SHAME TO THE DRUG ADDICT NANA
Author: SGT ANANI FIADZOE Posted: 2013-01-03 06:03:18 Why should a drug addict hold the whole country to ransom like this?
Well, Kofi Coomson (of the Chronicle newspaper) warned us since 2007!
Re: Brouhaha over Parliament inauguration: January
Author: Odikro Posted: 2013-01-03 06:12:20 More importantly, the "boycotting" MP's elect should forfeit their salaries

CONFUSED CRIMINALS
Author: Kwaku Posted: 2013-01-03 06:40:28 How can these confused criminals rule Ghana they are only going to waste our time, the 23yrs doesn't seem to be enough for them.
Shame on our parliamentarians
Author: Negus Negusta Posted: 2013-01-03 06:46:21 This shows the ineptitude of our parliamentarians. How could they have missed such an important provision, more especially when it affects their work. No wonder they tie us to glaringly water-leaking agreements and contracts because they fail to read and understand them thoroughly. SHAME ON YOU ALL, YOU ARE A DISGRACE TO OUR DEAR NATION.
"Vote Nana Addo the Speaker"
Author: ManBelhomme Posted: 2013-01-03 07:07:08 I think, to ease the current political tension in the country, members should elect the NPP presidential contender, Speaker of the National Assembly whose power overrides even that of the president in certain times. This could be one of several ways to feel on top.
Don't Hand 2nd Deputy Speaker To NPP
Author: Whatever Posted: 2013-01-03 07:38:22 NPPs uncooperative attitude of not acting in the supreme interest of Ghana should not be rewarded.
USELESS NPP
Author: emma Posted: 2013-01-03 07:55:57 USELESS NPP,THEY JUST DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.
MPS SHOULD WAKE UP NOW OR........
Author: MATIGARI Posted: 2013-01-03 08:27:29 THIS INCONSISTENCY IN THE PRESIDENTIAL TRANSITION ACT CLEARLY DEMONSTRATES HOW SERIOUS OUR PARLIAMENTARIANS DO THEIR JOB.IT SEEMS TO SUGGEST THAT THEY HAVE LEFT THE CONSTITUTION FAR AWAY FROM THEIR STUDY TABLES.THIS IS AN ACTIVITY THAT IS PERFORMED IN EVERY FOUR YEARS SINCE 1992 SO WHY SHOULD THE MPS OVERLOOK IT. IT ALSO SUGGESTS THAT THEY MOST OFTEN SHOUT "YEEE YEEE" TO EVERY THING THAT IS PRESENTED TO THE HOUSE FOR DELIBERATION. IT IS MY HOPE AND PRAYER THAT THIS LAKADAISICAL ATTITUDE OF THE MPS SHOULD NOT BE TOLERATED UNDER THIS CURRENT LEADERSHIP.ISSUES SHOUL BE DISCUSSED THOROUGHLY JUST US THEY DO WHEN IT COMES TO MATTERS OF THEIR REMUNERATION
Go ahead to do the needful, Parliament
Author: KWAME Posted: 2013-01-03 08:38:25 Parliament, go ahead to do needeful Ghanaians want. Nobody or group of people will be allowed to hold the country to its knees. Nobody or group are better citizens of the state of Ghana. No saboteur should be given an inch to hold this great country which was bestowed to the people of Ghana by our forbearers. Some of us ready to die for the good cause of this country. We are no more in the period of colonialism. We shall not subjugate our rights to any group of people.
Ghana is after all the winner without these saboteurs and anarchists. Their history is there for any interested student to learn about.
Legal draftpersons who have put.......
Author: Taamiawu Posted: 2013-01-03 08:38:30 Many of the current pieces of legislation together, do not appear to have done a good job scrutinizing these draft legislations at all.
Even CI-74 which supposedly came from the SC itself appears not to have escaped the shoddy handiwork. And we all remember the headaches the EC had to go through to get its enabling legislation passed by the house.
Somebody needs to get on the ball to make sure these embarrassing 'blunders' do not occur in the future. After all, why are we paying all these technical legal experts for?
UNFORTUNATE, VARSITY GRADUTES ARE MORON
Author: USMAN Posted: 2013-01-03 10:00:27 It is glaring, our university graduates are morons. These useless entities have hijacked all top positions in Ghana and are taking poor quality decisions. No wonder this nation is reeling under the burden of judgment debts. These useless people are always quick to look down on their professional and HND counterparts. One can now see how Nkrumah was able to make it. It was because the civil servants he inherited from the colonial administration were competent and disciplined even though most of them were form four leavers. Today we have university graduates heading the ministries, departments and agencies yet performance is at the lowest ebb. This is how far our useless universities have brought us.
Early warning!
Author: william Posted: 2013-01-03 10:04:11 man proposes God disposes. Early warning that as MPs and some of you lawyers, you should work more across party lines for the national interest and for posterity. Long live Ghana, 'unfortunate' parliamentarians!
mahama must not attend inauguration
Author: Woman's wisdom Posted: 2013-01-03 10:22:09 Mahama is a thief and so is his party members. Let Mahama boycott the swearing in because he has a case in court against his presidency. NDC is afraid of being chastised for stealing Ghana's money that is why they had steal to win the election to stay in power.

Re: Brouhaha over Parliament inauguration: January
Author: Nicholas Osei Kyeretwie-Chicago-USA Posted: 2013-01-03 12:41:57 The MPS did not detect the inconsistency because all they care for is the name and money dem want for dem body and nothing more.I thought the house is made up of good lawyers.God help Ghana. The constitution itself is gryinc for amendments, yet who will take the lead. How do we explain the provision that3/4 of ministers be mps.If the mps are lawmarkers and are also the same to implement the laws, where are we going?Yes power is sweet and the office of National power is so enticing that, once a man gets into it especialy in the third world,he usually finds it difficult and painful to be out of it.
NONSENSE AGAIN
Author: Kwabena Apuntuah Posted: 2013-01-03 13:47:56 Stop this nonsense people! Show me where in the constitution the MP's are mandated to appear for the swearing in? Nowhere! To suppress their salaries because they refuse to go to a challenged presidential swearing in is unsubstantiated. Furthermore, the whole issue of this confusion could have been avoided if, the NDC had taken their time to review the laws of the land instead of always rushing bills on partisan levels (shows why they are always loosing lawsuits) and NDC had not attempted to circumvent the will of the people.
