What are these NPP guys thinking?
Author: Pipiango Posted: 2013-02-25 08:19:26 These NPP guys must be seriously deluded if they think any judge in his right senses will declare Nana Akuffo Addo the president and ask Mahama to step down. No matter what happens and regardless of whatever evidence is presented in court, the most that will come out of the supreme court will be electoral reforms. These minority caucus guys are letting the very people who voted them into power down.

Ignorant move
Author: Yao Amezdrovi Posted: 2013-02-25 08:23:01 Stupid move! Should the NPP retro sue the NDC MPs who boycotted parliament during the Kufuor's administration? Boycotting parliament is not unusual if the aggrieved parties deem it as the necessary tool to get their concerns addressed. It is practiced in every civilized country.

AKUFO ADDO IS IN COURT NOT MPs
Author: .....Mobilla. Posted: 2013-02-25 08:28:20 It is Akufo Addo that went to court not the MPs so they must be sued for not abiding by the constitution. Wellmeaning Ghanaians support your move Hon. James Agalga.
They must be taught a lesson.
Author: Honesty - the best policy! Posted: 2013-02-25 08:29:01 They forget that they represent the whole constituency and not the NPP in parliament. The constituents who are not NPP can take them to court.

EMPTY THREAT
Author: Richmond Ofori(Azigi) Posted: 2013-02-25 08:33:24 How did he pay before coming out with this threat of sueing the NPP MP'S? His action is just like someone who intends to kill him/herself and tell people where the intended suicide will take place. If you you really want to kill yourself, you don't go about telling people where and when the action will take place. The NDC MP should stop this warning and head straight to court if he means what says

GHANAIAN WOMEN BOYCOTT
Author: princewilly@ymail.com Posted: 2013-02-25 08:46:15 Thousands of Ghanaian women have vowed to go on a week long sex strike to protest their country's leadership in hopes that the boycott will persuade men to pressure the government to sue the NPP for having huge salary increase and eating free food. I admire what these women are doing, although its really just a week that nobody gets beaten by John Paintstill type of men"
SUE OVER THE PROPERTY
Author: princewilly@ymail.com Posted: 2013-02-25 08:49:24 Did you know that heaven and hell are actually right next to each other? They are seperated by a big chain-link fence. Well, one day hell was having a big party and it got a little out of hand. God heard the ruckus and arrived to find his fence completely smashed by the wild partiers. He called the devil over and said "Look, Satan, you have to rebuild this fence." Satan agreed. The next day God noticed that the devil had completely rebuilt the fence...but it was 2 feet further into heaven than before.
"Satan!" beckoned God. "You have to take that fence down and put it back where it belongs!"
"Yeah? What if I don't?" replied the devil.
"I'll sue you if I have to," answered God.
"Sure," laughed Satan. "Where are you going to find a lawyer?"

Akyem Mafia has misled the NPP!!!!
Author: Dumega Prosper Jnr Posted: 2013-02-25 09:17:29 It's regretable that the "all knowing"
Akyem mafia who are known for short cuts have truncated the future fortunes of the Narcotic Pedlers PParty alias NPP. They claim they are "DEMOCRATS" and yet still denounce and frown and heavily descend on some minority but powerful members just for the sake of theri selfish "y3n akan fuo" madness. How can Ghana allow these offshoots of the UP Mate meho killers and bomb throwers and CIA agents to resurface again. Did you all not see the vandalism and the incorrigibility and mayhem of gargantuan proportions they meted out to innocent Ghanaians at the Abra square in the Glorious of all men, the Osagyefo Kantamanto, the African Show boy, the one who never dies, Nkrumah Circle!!!
Ghana must never and NOT forget that NPP cannot boast of being a democrat. Just 1 year after Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah became a Prime Minister, most of those who started putting bombs in the flowers of children and bombed the Osagyefo are the same offspring of those killers who are shouting loudest today. This time, they are being the custodians of the barbaric mayhem caused at the Obra spot where journalists were beaten, where some innocen tpeople were shot and cars were vandalised. Do the NPP wish to ever come to power by this stupid "all die be die", kill the Ewes and Gas, "had it not been Nkrumah's educational policies, most of the northerners would have been cattle herders"!! Say again!!
NDC, try and deliver on your political promises!! Learn to be humble, I tell you NDC people. You will be in power for the next 50 years. Ghanaians are not wee smokers. Ghanaians are hard working people. They don't take short cuts on issues to become prominent. Ghanaians arre not war mongers. Senseless road to Kigali or likiga are not part of us.
We have seen Professors upon professors but their sensible and common humanity is that they don't insult as some dog eaters do. Long live NDC. Long live Mahama as President!! Long live Osagyefo's Ghana!! I de bi k3k3
IT SERVES NDC RIGHT
Author: Pepeni Abrantieh Posted: 2013-02-25 09:22:14 NDC as a party (though i am a member) appears to be suffering from inferiority complex, whilst the semi-literates party appears to be engulfed in an untestable superiority complex buoyed by shouting the loudest.
But I think it is our old guys who were previously subjugated into submission by the NPP propagandists tactics. Thank God the new generation of youthful and exuberant members are ready to carry the fight to the pitch the twibrofo speakers on their turf of competence.

Re: NPP MPs to be sued over boycotts
Author: KOSI AFUTUPA Posted: 2013-02-25 09:52:59 Good piece there. The supreme court is now on spotlight whether the court can be a bastion of justice. God shall reward them even after their death but if they fail to dispense justice the repurcussions will not be on the justices but be upon their children and their children's children. The verdict which other way will reward hardwork for both parties, with NDC the foot soldiers should be happy if the verdict does no go their way because the party hiearchy will respect them and will need their support for campaigning but if the incumbent party can bribe EC for election victory then foot soldiers are irrelevant to election victory. With NPP if the verdict goes to their favour then hard work pays so there is no need to bribe the EC

Senseless MPs, Ghana First
Author: Realstatesman Posted: 2013-02-25 10:21:09 Oh boy, sometimes it seems democracy is not good enough for Africa why do we want to go to heaven but don“t want to die?? Is Ghana under constitutional Rule or under our wishes and our imagination. The constitution that gave them the mandate as MPs so that they can live extravagance life, whiles most Ghanaians struggle for a days meal, that same constitution gives the president the mandate to act untile the supreme court rules otherwise.Though the NPP MPs do have some rights to boycott parliament, their continues boycotts is becoming unconstitutional and we have to be a bit fair sometimes. I have heard that their allowances and their EX gratias has been increased by the sitting Gov. and due as well, can thay tell Ghanaians that they will refuse the offer?? Please get it right, the NDC might have stollen the verdict of the 07.12. elections, Mahama remains the Pres. untile the constitution ( SUPREME COURT) rules otherwise POINT!!!! Ghana is not under chieftaincy, so lets practice the sooooo called democracy with some sorts of compromises. Thanks
NDC BEATING ABOUT THE BUSH
Author: Ofege Posted: 2013-02-25 10:36:08 NDC IS FRUSTRATED. IT DOESN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.
IT KNOWS THAT IT WILL HAVE TO FIGHT AND WIN OVER THE CONSTITUTION BEFORE MEETING NPP WHICH IS AN IMPOSSIBLE TASK. IT WILL BE LIKE A TRAIN GOING FROM NKAWKAW TO OBOMENG.
ANYTHING THAT LEGITIMIZES MAHAMA WON'T BE ADHERENT.
SUIT
Author: Ogyam Posted: 2013-02-25 10:54:04 Majority of Ghanaians are hypocrites!
They attack Akuffo Addo who has been short-changed in the 2012 elections and leave John Mahama and EC. Do these people have any sense of morality and justice?
No wonder Ghana is not developing because very few people think right and logical.
Recall them from Parliament.
Author: bigture Posted: 2013-02-25 11:22:24 The electorate of the affected constituencies should file petition with the electoral commission to organize recall elections to remove them from parliament period.

MINORITY WALKOUT
Author: James Ababio Posted: 2013-02-25 11:37:50 THE PROBLEM WITH THE MINORITY WALK-OUT IS THAT SOON THEY WILL FIND OUT THAT DR BAWUMIA WILL HAVE TO LEAVE THE COURT SUIT TO TAKE UP HIS JOB AT THE AFRICAN DEVELOPMENT BANK. HOW THEN WILL THEY FEEL. THE VERY PERSON FOR WHOSE CAUSE THEY ARE BOYCOTTING PARLIAMENT IS LEAVING THE COURT CASE TO TAKE UP HIS INTERNATIONAL APPOINTMENT.
WHY CANT THEIR SALARIES BE WITHHELD?
I THINK ITS ABOUT TIME WE MOVED TO THE HOURLY WAGE SYSTEM. THE SYSTEM WOULD HAVE TAKEN ALL THESE MONIES BACK INTO CHEST TO IMPROVE GOVERNMENTS FISCAL BALANCES.
NATIONAL DESTRUCTION CONGRESS (NDC)
Author: Kwabena Apuntuah Posted: 2013-02-25 12:00:04 This is the reason why the NDC will loose all their court cases. The actions or inactions of the minority in parliament has nothing to do with the court case and they are baiting the NDC to go to Court to be shamed again. Look, they have every right to stage a walkout in protest of anything they so choose. Why is it okay for the NDC to walkout on Kuffour but it is not okay for the NPP to woalk out on Mahama. Whether it is in solidarity with the Court case, they have a legitimate reason to use a parliamentary procedure. If NDC goes to Court, it will Loose. Period! The Court cannot Order the MP's not to walkout since that is a parliamentary procedure and it would be a violation of the SOP. Please give us a break with your nonsense.
Blame the over 120,000 foolish NPP agents
Author: Nyame Ekuma Posted: 2013-02-25 12:00:10 If the NPP MPs are found guilty the state shd confisicate their salaries diring the time of boycott.
NPP says there were irregularities in 12,000 stns, tghat is half of Ghana. Simply put the NPP agents were stupidly foolish, that they couldn't count 1, 2, 3 and open their fucking blind eyes insisting that the right things were done.
Suorisingly, there was no mayhem, violence, intimadtions, rigging that was repoorted in 48 hours after the elections.
Aaaaba!!! NPP and Akufo Addo, pls allow Ghana to move foward.

And Jesus wept! and mankind laughs..ha ha ha ha!
Look! How can such an elected member of parliament contribute anything wisely in parliament?
Taking NPP parliamentarians to court?
Has the court even been able to solve the bigger case which hangs on the neck of the NDC leader?

Re: NPP MPs to be sued over boycotts
Author: Foko Posted: 2013-02-25 18:13:01 They must not be payed and banned from politics/public office for life becasue they are matured undertake such duties.
They must also be sued for breeching the oath the undertook during the swearing in. Imprison them if the constitution permits.
This is no good example for our children who will take over the country in future.
ITS ABOUT TIME.
Author: OBINNA Posted: 2013-02-25 18:22:20 These MPs are becoming IRRESPONSIBLE. Ghanaians should demand that these so-called representatives should settle down and do the people's business. If the people have done their civic duty, its now the turn of these elected reps to do theirs.
