"Madman" terrorizes people at Kwame Nkrumah Circle
Traders at Kwame Nkrumah Circle have been subjected to harassment by a rampaging mentally ill man who loiters around Obra Spot, Osu Taxi rank, Kaneshie and Neoplan stations.
The man, who according to the traders appeared in the area three months ago, has been a source of worry.
He chases passer-bys away with stones, clubs and other harmful implements and sometimes spit at them.
Pleas to the Accra Metropolitan Authority’s city guards to do something about the situation have proven futile.
Traders nonetheless continue appealing to the AMA to act before the man's threats give way to a real tragedy.
